SPC's Heavy Duty Wheel Centering Tool Set corrects off-center wheel/stud combinations that can cause wheel hop, vibrations, and premature tire wear. When remounting the wheel/tire assembly onto a hub piloted mount, the wheel rests on the upper pilot. This can produce a gap on the other pilots, causing the off-centered condition. Simply slide the 3 centering tapered tools over the wheel studs at the 12, 8, and 4 o'clock positions; mount wheel and add lugnuts; remove the tools and replace remaining lugnuts, torquing to manufacturer specifications. The wheel is now completely centered.
