Engine Management System-Pro
- The EMS-Pro is a small computer designed to control a broad array of EFI engines. It is similar to the computers in late model fuel injected vehicles except EMS-Pro users can customize parameters to support more horsepower, including for nitrous and turbo or super chargers.

Required Inputs - 12-volt switched ignition
- Chassis or battery ground
- Engine Position: points, distributor sensor (magnetic, hall, or optical input), or crankshaft trigger (magnetic, hall, or optical; multiple tooth patterns supported)
- Coolant and Intake Air Temperatures (GM temp sensors by default; other thermistor-based sensors can be calibrated in software)
- Manifold Pressure: 4-bar (40+ psi) MAP sensor already inside EMS-Pro
- Throttle Position: Any OE 0-5 volt sensor can be calibrated to EMS-Pro
Optional Inputs *Within EMS-Pro but not required to run most engine combinations - Oxygen Sensor: Any OE narrow band or 0-5 volt wideband (e.g. Innovate LC-1)
- Cam Position Sensor (magnetic, hall, or optical; used with crank position sensors to id TDC)
- Knock Sensor Input (tunable knock circuit designed to work with OE knock sensors)
- Launch rev limiter or boost builder input trigger (retards timing to settings once activated)
- External MAP sensor
- Real-time barometric correction using second onboard MAP sensor
- Nitrous enable if using EMS-Pro as a nitrous system trigger
Outputs - Fuel Injectors (low or high impedance; dual bank up to 8 injectors per bank; secondary bank can be used for secondary VE tables or staged injection; configure as batch fire or alternating banks)
- Fuel Pump Relay (triggers ground side of typical fuel pump relays; safety shutoff at 0 RPM)
- Ignition (up to 4 spark outputs; use with factory coils, distributors, or wasted spark coilpacks; 0 volt points OR 5 volt TTL triggering)
- Fast Idle (can support simple valve for warm-up or PWM-style/2-wire IAC valves)
- TPS and other sensors that require 5 volts are supported
- GM-style boost control solenoids supported
- 12-volt square wave tach and typical aftermarket tachometers supported
- Cooling Fan Relay Control (software-configurable temperatures to enable/disable standard automotive fan control relay; triggers ground side)
- Grounds LED-based or relay for other incandescent shift lights
- LED indicators to communicate proper input/output functions
