Designed for carburetor and throttle body injection assemblies with a 5-1/8 inch neck, Spectre’s cowl tray style air cleaner assemblies come with a 3, 4 or 5 inch tall HPR air filter. These air filters are available with our red, blue, black or white media. In addition, these assemblies come with a triple chrome plated, a powder coated or Extraflow air filter lid. The powder coated drop base lowers the air cleaner, resulting in an overall height of 2.5 inches from the carburetor flange to the air box sealing edge. The universal open top air box base with cowl tray is designed for cars and trucks with cowl style hoods so that they seal to the underside of the hood and firewall, drawing cool outside air from cowl hood and from the base of the windshield.

Spectre Cowl Induction Air Cleaners are a universal open top airbox designed for carburetor and throttle body injection assemblies with a 5-1/8 inch neck. Designed to seal to the underside of the hood or the underside of the hood and firewall. These air cleaners help improve performance by isolating the filter while drawing cool outside air from the base of the windshield. They include top, base, and a HPR or Xtraflow air filter (Xtraflow brings in even more air than HPR). These reusable filters help create extra horsepower and quicker acceleration by flowing more air into the engine than regular paper filters. /p>
