Spectre’s Cowl Induction Air Cleaner is a universal open top airbox designed for carburetor and throttle body injection assemblies with a 5-1/8 inch neck. Featuring a powder coated lid and drop base, a black 14 inch by 5 inch tall Spectre HPR synthetic air filter is also included. Designed to seal to the underside of the hood, this air cleaner helps improve performance by isolating the filter while drawing cool outside air from the base of the windshield. With an overall air cleaner height of 6.2 inches, the included drop base lowers the air cleaner to a height of 4.5 inches. Some applications may require the use of an air cleaner riser, part number 4950, to clear fuel inlets or electric choke mechanisms.

Spectre Cowl Induction Air Cleaners are a universal open top airbox designed for carburetor and throttle body injection assemblies with a 5-1/8 inch neck. Designed to seal to the underside of the hood or the underside of the hood and firewall. These air cleaners help improve performance by isolating the filter while drawing cool outside air from the base of the windshield. They include top, base, and a HPR or Xtraflow air filter (Xtraflow brings in even more air than HPR). These reusable filters help create extra horsepower and quicker acceleration by flowing more air into the engine than regular paper filters. /p>
