Procomp Electronics 8000 Series billet distributors are designed for the enthusiast that is serious about performance but needs the small cap size due to space considerations when installed. They are precision CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum to exacting tolerances. The spark plug type terminals offer secure wire attachment. Under the brass terminals of the cap and rotor is an extremely accurate hall effect pickup that never requires adjustment. The heavy duty 1/2 steel shaft is guided in a long sintered bushing as well as a sealed ball bearing at the top to precisely locate the reluctor. This combination yields stable timing and spark delivery at any RPM.

Stable Timing & Spark Delivery at Any RPM
Speedmaster 8000-Series Distributors are designed for performance applications needing a small-cap due to space limitations. The distributor housing is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with a polished (Tuftride coated) 1/2 in. steel shaft. The cap contains spark plug-style brass terminals while the precision magnetic pickup and adjustable mechanical advance accurately modify the advance curve.
Note: Speedmaster Billet Distributors must be used with a Speedmaster or MSD 6A/6AL Ignition Control & Coil (sold separately).
