Spohn Performance's tubular front upper control a-arms for the 1978-1988 GM G-Body & 1982-2003 GM S-10/S-15 (2WD) set a new, higher standard of performance and quality. When we designed our upper a-arms, we had two goals in mind.
One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, the second was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle. We're proud to say that we have accomplished both.
They decrease overall weight by 4 lb., and more importantly, in.un-sprung in. weight. These feature low deflection greaseable fluted polyurethane bushings that are fluted on the o.d. and i.d. and feature dual grease flow through holes for squeak-free operation and smooth rotation.
They also provide for additional header clearance and are assembled with new forged 4140 chrome moly offset cross shafts and heavy-duty bushing retainers for maximum strength and rigidity, resulting in a very precise steering feel.
These tubular upper control a-arms are designed for use with factory or drop spindles. This package includes premium greaseable SuperTravel ball joints (K5208ST) installed with high quality Grade 8 mounting hardware.
Powder coated for a brilliant and durable finish.

No more cutting your front upper a-arms, the SuperTravel front upper ball joints outperform pie cut front upper a-arms. They can be used in conjunction with our tubular front upper control a-arms for insane travel and laying the frame on very large wheels.
