Spohn Performance 918-325B Features:

This SKU 918-325 Pro-Touring rear sway bar kit fits on rear end housings with 3.25" diameter axle tubes.

The Spohn Performance three way adjustable Pro-Touring rear sway bar is a quantum leap forward for 1968-1972 GM A-Body cars. The factory method of attaching the sway bar to the lower control arms is inexpensive to manufacture but leaves a lot to be desired on a performance car. The long suspension arms have a tremendous amount of leverage which drastically limits the effectiveness of the bar. This is why you sometimes see HUGE rear bars for these cars.

The other problem is that when the suspension articulates the bar causes it to bind up. The bigger the bar the more it binds. Our Pro-Touring bar uses end links mounted to the frame crossmember with Teflon® lined spherical rod ends for bind-free articulation, we exclusively use extra heavy-duty 5/8" spherical rod ends with a Teflon® self-lubricating race. This method also allows much higher rates with a much smaller (22mm) and lighter sway bar.

Easily adjust the sway bar rate to soft, medium, or firm settings in minutes to tune oversteer/understeer. Use the firm setting at the drag strip and use the adjustable end links to set pre-load for flatter launches!

Installation Notes:
- Welding of the upper end link mounts is required.
- Use SKU 1031-1 spacers for an additional 1/2" of clearance. The included bushing mounting saddles space the sway bar down 2.00". Adding the SKU 1031-1 spacers will provide for a 2.50" total drop. Some set-ups will require this additional clearance.

Axle Tube Diameters:
- Strange and Currie rear ends use 3.00" diameter axle tubes
- Moser 12 Bolt rear ends use 3.00" diameter axle tubes
- Moser Ford 9" rear ends manufactured after early 2002 use a 3.00" diameter axle tube
- Moser Ford 9" rear ends manufactured prior to early 2002 use a 3.25" diameter axle tube.
- Ford factory and other brand Ford 9" rear ends vary, you should check your axle tube diameter before ordering
