Although the exact date of change is unknown the exhaust header bolt thread in the 5.0L Coyote engine were changed from 10mm-1.25 pitch to 10mm-1.50 pitch around the sixth month of production. Please verify thread pitch of your existing bolts before ordering.

Stage-8 Locking header bolts are made of grade-8 quality steel and use a patented 3-piece system that consists of a grooved bolt, a retainer, and a spring clip. The retainer fits over the head of the bolt, the retainer fits up against the header, and the clip snaps into the groove for a secure fit that won't wiggle loose. Bolts with a 6-point DHH (Double Hex Head) feature a recessed 3/16'' Allen head inside the hex head for installation in those tight spots.
