The kit is supplied with a stainless steel air box with built-in velocity stack and CNC billet aluminum mass air meter. It mounts in the factory location with the supplied rubber trim to seal it against the hood & fender to keep the hot air out. Our tests showed inlet temps a mere 10 degrees above ambient temperature. The Steeda Lifetime Filter can easily be cleaned and re-oiled, making maintenance a snap. All hardware required for installation is included in the kit.
Steeda has found between 16 -20 more rear wheel horsepower with this kit.
Steeda Cold Air Intake kits are dyno proven to make more horsepower over the stock intake. With less restriction and more surface area this High-Flow Air Intake Kit is a great source of power. An easy bolt on for the garage mechanic and can be done in under one hour. This Steeda cold air intake kit will not trip check engine light.
Note: 2005-Up Mustang intakes require a ''flash'' tune which is available from SCT and Diablo Sport.
