Strange Aluminum Coil-Over Shocks were developed by Strange with the input of chassis builders, street enthusiasts, Pro-Mod racers, and World Champion Sportsman racers. The hard work culminated into a shock that is highly responsive, consistent, and can be easily adjusted to adapt to slight changes in atmospheric conditions. Each Strange shock body, eyelets, spring seats and jam nut are machined from high-grade aluminum. Strange assembles and inspects each shock. Every shock that passes stringent testing is issued a serial number. A dynamometer allows Strange to analyze shocks at all shaft speeds and continue valve development to stay at the forefront of the performance suspension industry.

Strange Hypercoil Drag Racing Springs
Hypercoil springs are cold wound from pre heat-treated SAE 9254 chrome silicon wire, and optimum wire diameter is used for the individual design. After coiling, the closed ends are ground, and springs are thermally stress-relieved, preset, and shot-peened. Completed springs are magnafluxed, powdercoated blue, and inspected for size and integrity. Additionally, Hyperco tests each coil for true rate and etches it into the spring. Such strict manufacturing standards yield springs with +/- 2% tolerance range (most are within 1%). Sold in pairs, all springs have 2.5" ID.
