The Superwinch Certus Wireless Remote is designed to allow operation of your winch from anywhere you need to be, up to 50 feet away. The Superwinch Certus Wireless Remote is available for many Superwinch Series winches utilizing a plug-and-play wiring harness and radio receiver. The Certus Wireless Remote operates on FM based signals to provided the strongest remote signal available. In fact the handheld remote and receiver "talk" to each other constantly to confirm signal is not interrupted. If the remote goes out of range or the signal is interrupted Certus safely stops the winch from operating, protecting you and your vehicle from a dangerous run-on situation that other wireless units are susceptible to. The handheld remote unit is also completely waterproof to protect it from the elements when in use.
