Tanner Racing Products Modular engine is for use in quarter midget (oval track) racing. This design features an all iron cylinder to fit the existing base. This all iron cylinder requires no seats or sleeves and comes bored to nominal. Guide holes are complete and the cylinder is ready for your custom ports. This engine combination shares many benefits such as lower cost, lighter in weight, excellent crank to cam mesh, and no more expensive weld bills for porting or repair. Engine Kit comes complete with all studs, nuts, washers, and alignment pins. New design allows builder to directly fasten the base and cylinder together.

Tanner Racing Products has spent over two years of research & development on these engines. All current DECO, Continental, and Detroit Engines components fit without modification. T6 Full machined base. Accepts R-6 or standard cam bearings. No welding needed, these already have added thickness & ribs.
