Atmospheric Blow-Off Valve, Supports up to 1,800 HP!
The first revision of TiAL's original blow-off valve, the Q Series flows 60% more than its predecessor and bolts to any standard TiAL flange without welding. An aluminum weld base mounting flange cut for 2-1/2'' pipe and aluminum V-band mounting clamp with stainless steel hardware create a durable corrosion-free appearance. A banjo-type aluminum air fitting and bolt with oversized 10mm hose barb allow quick actuator response. Springs available to accommodate various vacuum levels and supercharged applications.

Features:
- For use on turbo-charged and super-charged applications (Paxton, Vortec, etc.) The body and all internal components are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98'' (50.5mm) valve.
- The V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp gives a very clean and unique appearance. The clamp uses Stainless Steel hardware for a long lasting, corrosion-free appearance.
- The valve seal utilizes a Viton O-ring that is clamped in place to prevent the possibility of sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are PTFE-lubricated, hard anodize-coated for wear resistance.
- The Blow Off Valve also comes with a machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with over sized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for long life.
- An aluminum weld base mounting flange is furnished with each unit
- Through countless hours of R&D Tial was able to make the same size valve flow a staggering 60% more than the original design - that means 60% more air is blown off per cycle! This is the highest flowing BOV on the market
- A single Q BOV can support up to 1,800hp

- -2 psi spring for supercharged applications
- Color anodized aluminum options (Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, Black)
- Q Series BOV Assembly
- TiAL V-band Clamp
- V-band Weld Flange
- TiAL Air Fitting
- High Pressure O-ring
For supercharged and turbocharged applications, a blow-off valve is essential to protect the turbo from compressor surge and damage by releasing excess intake pressure to the atmosphere or recirculating it when the throttle closes. After extensive testing and R&D, the team at TiAL has revised their original blow-off valve, and the Q Series has enhancements like 60% more flow than the original design, making it the highest flowing blow-off valve on the market. .
Performance Benefits & Key Features
The Q Series from TiAL is machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, as are all internal components. The valve seal incorporates a Viton O-ring that’s clamped in place for a secure fit, with the valve stem and guide permanently lubricated with PTFE and anodized-coated for wear resistance. The V-band design of the mounting clamp lends a clean and unique appearance, with stainless hardware for durability and resistance to corrosion.
Aluminum weld base mounting flanges are included with each unit, and the valve is designed with a banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm. Valves feature a 10mm oversize hose barb for fast actuator response.
Fitment, Compatibility & Applications
TiAL Q Series blow-off valves are compatible with engines developing up to 1800 horsepower. Choose from great-looking silver, red, purple, blue or black anodized finishes that will look great with your setup. They’re designed to be compatible with Paxton, Vortec, Roots and all other turbocharger or supercharger designs. For supercharged applications, the Q Series is designed to kick in at -2 psi. Valves are available for -6, -8, -10 and -11 actuation as well. This is also the place to find replacement springs, weld flanges, O-rings and valve clamp assemblies for your TiAL blow-off valve. Spring rates and stiffness are designed for the threshold of negative pressure you need for your specific setup.
A blow-off valve is a detail that shouldn’t be overlooked when designing and installing a turbocharger or supercharger setup, and the enhanced flow of the TiAL blow-off valve is a great way to get an added measure of protection for your engine. With 60% more air blown off per cycle, the TiAL blow-off valve is a big improvement over their previous design and is a better performer than other blow-off valves on the market.
