The Toyo Tires Proxes 1 Max Performance Summer Tires offer the most advanced technology with a focus on high speed braking and cornering in wet or dry weather. These flagship tires of the Proxes line are designed for driving enthusiasts with the most powerful cars in the world!
The Proxes 1 tires have been engineered with Multi-Compound Tread zones - the compound of the inboard zone is designed to maximize brake performance while the compound of the outboard zone enhances cornering performance. The engineering didn't stop there, wide circumferential grooves feature Silent Wall technology that
reduces pipe resonance to deliver a quiet ride and Multi-Function Taper
technology that channels water to resist hydroplaning. The Toyo Proxes 1
also features an asymmetric tread design with a notched center rib that
provides straight-line tracking and delivers continuous contact, interlocking
intermediate blocks that provide stability during cornering and large outboard
shoulder blocks for responsiveness. This much performance does come with
limitations, as with all max performance summer tires they should not be used
on snow and ice or near freezing weather conditions.
