Longfield gun drilled birfields are 100% chromoly, polished to remove stress risers, with dual heat-treated 4340 chromoly internals. A grease passage drilled through the birfield feeds an M8 zerk on the stub shaft, so the joint can be serviced without tearing down the axle. This single 30-spline birfield fits the FJ80 front axle.
