For years, the pages had continued to turn attempting to make the best transfer case cradle for the Suzuki Samurai. In 2012, Low Range Off-Road set out to make an end to that story and in 2014, after 2 years of development and testing, a bestseller was born.

Low Range's efforts were motivated by repeated transfer case breakage after installing low range t-case gears. The factory brackets are made of thin sheet metal with only 4 points of contact on each side of the case. High torque situations or simply letting out the clutch too fast in low range can cause the mounts to bend, which in turn causes pulling or breaking of the soft aluminum transfer case. In addition, the factory brackets attach to the frame itself in only 3 places creating additional vulnerability. Other aftermarket cradles do not address the transfer case's rigidity problems and use only factory mounting locations to attach their cradle to the case.

So what sets this cradle apart from the competition?

Low Range started from scratch and made a mount with 17 points of contact to the transfer case. The EOS has a full circle backbone that distributes torque around the whole case. With added strength comes a dramatically reduced risk of t-case breakage and extended gear life.

To address the weak bracket that mounts to the frame in only 3 places, we added a 4th frame mount location on the cradle arm. This reduces the chances of the frame breaking at the mount points - a common occurrence with the Samurai.

• A lower skid plate to protect the transfer case from trail abrasion
• All necessary hardware included- even the necessary drill bits
• CNC laser cut, CNC press bent, hand MIG welded
• Zinc plated for corrosion resistance

If you have low range transfer case gears installed, we highly recommend this transfer case mount because it will save you money! Going without it is a gamble with lousy odds.

We recommend replacing all rubber t-case mounts when installing this cradle.One additional OE style mount is required for installation and included with every STC-EOS kit. STC-EOS-W-MNTS includes 3 additional new mounts.
