- Trans Dapt Solid Steel Motor Mounts eliminate the torque flex of the engine in the chassis that rubber pads allow. These steel motor mounts transfer all lost power to the drivetrain for improved performance. Using solid motor mounts will dramatically increase engine vibration that is felt in the passenger compartment, so it is recommended that these mounts be used on race cars only. Solid Steel Motor Mounts are sold in pairs and kits include both motor mounts and frame mounts.Note: The height is measured as the distance between the base of the mount tab and the furthest point on the bolt hole.
