LS Engine Swap Kit for 1968-1972 GM A-Body Models [TH350/TH400, 1.750 in. Long Tube Headers, Uncoated]
This Swap-In-A-Box kit packages the headers, engine mounts and oil pan needed to drop a GM LS engine into 1968-1972 GM A-Body models. The 1.750 in. long tube mild steel headers are matched to the mounts and pan, so the swap goes together with less trial and error.
Trans-Dapt 46015 LS Engine Swap Kit Features:
- Installs a GM LS (Gen III/IV) engine in 1968-1972 GM A-Body models
- For use with TH350/TH400 transmissions
- Kit includes 1.750 in. long tube standard-duty mild steel headers, uncoated
- 3 in. ball and socket style collectors with reducers, collector bolts and gaskets
- Engine mounts with mounting hardware
- Engine swap oil pan with 5 qt. capacity, oil pump pickup tube, gaskets and bolts
- Requires relocation of the oil filter; pair with an LS swap oil filter integration kit such as Trans-Dapt 1012, 1014 or 1016
- Some LS engines have the dipstick in the pan and require drilling a dipstick port in the block
- Bolts into Chevrolet A-Body frames; Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac models require a separate frame kit (Trans-Dapt 9596), sold separately
- Components from the Hedman Performance Group are engineered to work together
