Lightweight High-Torque Starters

Tuff Stuff Permanent Magnet Gear Reduction (PMGR) Starters are hand-built from premium-quality new components for long-term durability, and they are tested and manufactured in the USA. PMGR starters have a planetary gear design that provides up to 150 ft. lbs. of torque, which is a significant increase over OE starters. PMGR starters do not require bulky or heavy electrical windings to increase the motor's output, which lets them be considerably smaller (weighing 10 lbs. or less) than OE units. Where applicable, some styles incorporate a mounting block that can be indexed to gain additional clearance. PMGR starters come in your choice of chrome, black or zinc finish.
