RED OXIDE is used on iron/cast iron or pot metals where oxidation is a problem. Wipe surface with a solution of half vinegar and half water to remove oxidation, rinse thoroughly then let dry. Prime the metal within 24 hours of this process with thin, even coats. Lightly sand between coats for the best results.
