Volant has done extensive testing to show that cotton-gauze filters have superior airflow when compared to paper element filters. But these cotton-gauze filters can and will get dirty, clogging up and limiting air flow. The Volant Cold Air Intake Filter Element Cleaning Kit is the perfect solution to restore dirty Volant air filters. Each cleaning kit contains Volant's spray on filter cleaner/degreaser that loosens and removes dirt trapped in the filter element. The filter oil is used to restore the performance of the Volant filter. The oil contains a blue dye to easily see where the oil has saturated into the filter, eliminating the common mistake of over oiling the filter. When used correctly, Volant's filter cleaner kit can greatly extend the life and performance gains of your Volant high-flow air filter.
