The replacement throttle position sensor is made for 1993-1997 Ford Probe, Mazda MX-6, 1994-1997 Ford Aspire, 1993-2002 Mazda 626, 1995-2003 Mazda Protege and 2002-2003 Mazda Protege5. It reports throttle plate angle to the engine computer as a changing voltage, which the computer uses with other inputs to calculate fuel delivery.
