The replacement throttle position sensor is made for 1990-1994 Alfa Romeo Spider, 1991-1992 Alfa Romeo 164, 1985-1994 Saab 900 and 1986-1991 Saab 9000. It reports throttle plate angle to the engine computer as a changing voltage, which the computer uses with other inputs to calculate fuel delivery.
