The throttle position sensor kit is a direct replacement for 1997-2001 Dodge Dakota, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler and 1997-2002 Dodge Viper. It reports throttle plate angle to the engine computer as a changing voltage, which the computer uses with other inputs to calculate fuel delivery.
