This air charge temperature sensor fits 1995-2002 Volkswagen Cabrio, 1995-1999 Volkswagen Golf, Jetta, 1995-1997 Volkswagen Passat and 1997-2001 Volkswagen EuroVan and measures the temperature of the air entering the engine so the engine computer can correct fuel delivery and ignition timing. It uses a female rectangle connector with 2 terminals.
