The manifold absolute pressure sensor is a direct replacement for 1992-1996 Eagle Summit, 1993-1996 Mitsubishi Mirage and 1993 Plymouth Colt with the 1.5L I4 engine. It reports intake manifold pressure to the engine computer as a changing voltage signal, which the computer uses with other inputs to calculate fuel delivery and ignition timing.
