  Included In Assembly: Erson stainless steel valves, ring & band style valve seals, 1.550' valve springs, Erson 7° chrome moly retainers, and keepers.

  Recommended Installation Items:
  Rocker Arms: Aftermarket roller rocker arms recommended. However, if stock rockers are to be retained, use stud mounted rockers
  Head Gaskets: Fel-Pro #9333PT or #1011-2 or equivalent. CAUTION: #1011-1 is NOT recommended.
  Puhshrods: Requires heat-treated pushrods
  Spark Plugs: Accepts 14mm .460' reach tapered seat 5/8' hex (Champion #670 or #802) or equivalent
  Intake Gasket: Fel-Pro #90361 or equivalent
  Exhaust Gasket: Fel-Pro #1415 or equivalent
  Machine Shop Specifications:Maximum Valve Diameter: 1.940' x 1.600' (Windsor)
  Maximum Spring Seat Depth (from inside step): .030'
  Maximum Spring Diameter: 1.550'
  Approximate Milling Guidelines(varies with depth): .007' per cc
  Maximum Flat Mill Depth (up to intake seats): .040'
  Maximum Angle Mill: .175' depth

  NOTE: These specifications are for reference only. ALWAYS measure before machining. Note: Aftermarket 289/302 heads including Brodix, Edelbrock, Ford Motorsport and World Products with 1/2' bolt hole diameters (block is 7/16' bolt hole), except 397-M-6049-P303 ('P' style head). Require 350-9680 inserts with 350-8552 head bolt or 350-9680 insert with 070-154-3601. If head studs are desired use 070-154-4005 (includes inserts).
