Click to Enlarge	Dry Sump Systems Not Required LS7-equipped Corvettes come with a dry sump because early testing was said to have shown excessive main and rod bearing wear. GM's cure was to use an expensive dry sump oil system. World's solution was to design the Warhawk with priority main oiling. Lubricant goes from the bearings, then up top.
