When selecting an FTI Pro Series Powerglide transmission, the first step is to determine the maximum horsepower of your engine. FTI transmissions are available for engines under 1,000 horsepower, up to 1,100 horsepower, up to 1,500 horsepower, and up to 2,200 horsepower. From the remaining available options, choose between the short or long tail shaft option and the transbrake type.

FTI Powerglide transmission options range in price between $2800 (for a 1000hp Powerglide) to just under $4500 for a 1500hp Powerglide, and $5300 for a 2200 horsepower transmission.
