Fuel Pump
Supplying the carburetor or fuel injection system is the fuel pump. This component is either mechanically or electrically driven to draw fuel from the fuel tank or fuel cell and create pressure to either fill the carburetor fuel bowls, or supply the pressure needed for fuel injectors.
When selecting a fuel pump, it's important to first confirm if you need a mechanical (typically carbureted applications only) or electric fuel pump (both carbureted and fuel injected engines). Next, the correct pressure and volume needs to be confirmed to provide the proper fuel amount. Fuel pump replacement cost can vary anywhere from around $25 to as high as over $2,500 depending on the application, drive type, and size.
JEGS offers a large assortment of fuel pumps from top quality vendors like Aeromotive, Magnafuel, Derale, Fuelab, JEGS, and others. Each fuel pump is built from high quality components and assembly to provide the fuel delivery performance you need and long service life and reliability.
