Radiator
One of the main components of an engine cooling system is the radiator. Coolant / antifreeze circulates from the engine, where it absorbs heat, to the radiator, which helps the heat to release through the fins in it's core. As air passes through the fins while driving or with the use of fans when idling, the heat is removed, lowering coolant temperature which then returns to the engine.
When choosing a truck or car radiator as a stock replacement, it is important to confirm the year, make, model, engine, and transmission type (manual or automatic) in your vehicle. For custom applications, choose the largest one that will fit your core support and with the correct upper and lower radiator hose orientation. Don't forget to purchase the correct size and pressure radiator cap, as well as hoses, transmission lines (for automatic transmission cooler applications), and anything else to complete the project.
