Ford 260-302ci Small Block V8

Designed for street 289-302ci Ford V8s. This dual-plane high rise manifold has excellent high rpm power while retaining throttle response. This intake manifold is a stock replacement/street legal part for Shelby Mustangs with 289ci V8 with OEM 4V carb. 1965-66. No provisions for exhaust heated choke. Aftermarket 4-bbl carbs are not compatible with Ford Auto Overdrive Transmission (AOD) unless used with JEGS Throttle Cable Bracket & Springs p/n 555-157050.

Installation Notes:

Port exit dimensions: 1.09'' x 1.84''

Manifold height: (A) 3.50'' , (B) 4.75''; Carb pad height = 4.125'' Click here to determine carburetor pad height.

Intake gasket: JEGS p/n 555-210200.

Intake will not fit 255ci engines.

Edelbrock Performer 600cfm Carburetor p/n 350-1405.

These dual plane, high-rise intakes make incredible horsepower to 6500 rpm along with streetable torque for great throttle response. This broad power band makes Performer RPM ideal for street or strip. Their larger plenums and runners match the free-flowing exhaust, high-lift cams and other modifications of a high output engine. They are intended for high-performance street or competition engines that run up to 6500 rpm. They are not for emissions-equipped engines. Performer RPM manifolds match Performer RPM camshaft and cylinder heads for outstanding performance.
