    12496821 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not simple This takes more than it would at first appear. No commercially available EGR block-off plates are available. No commercially available EGR exhaust manifold to intake manifold tubes are available. The EGR plug runs another $23 on top of the $470 for the manifold, and the coolant hose from the water pump to intake manifold is also not a very well defined variable. Now that all that stuff is sorted out, it runs very well, as it should for the money and time investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1994 Chevy 1500 5.7 TBI Will this work on a 1994 chevy 5.7 tbi. I am planning on replacing it with vortec heads as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TBI manifold Jegs sent an email asking for a review but I haven't even put this engine(that I bolted the manifold to) in my vehicle yet. What can I say, it looks good. I painted it tan, and it matches the engine now. It looks like it should run really well. The shipping was really fast (2 days). It did bolt up to Vortec heads. It is really expensive, but it Jegs has the best deal out there. I wish I could tell you more...

Are these compatible with the 5.0 and the 5.7?

    Asked by: MNighthawk
Yes, this will work with either engine.

The manifold says suggested routing for the coolant bypass is the 3/8 nspf. However, if this is used what connection would be used to connect the coolant temperature sensor? There's a 5/8 npt near the egr valve, can that be used for coolant bypass?

    Asked by: SBC1
Yes, you can use any of the coolant ports in this intake manifold.
