- Shorter design for maximum ground clearance on cars lowered up to 4".
- Check motor mount position before ordering (Passenger Car/Bel Air/Wagon/Nomad only).
- Will not fit with kick out after-market starters.
- Will not fit if engine is located more than 3/4" forward for HEI firewall clearance.
- Installation requires left side A/C bracket part number 555-30782. 1979 and later vehicles with short compressors can use the stock bracket (Corvette only).
JEGS premium metallic ceramic coated headers look great and are made with heavy duty flanges and 18-gauge mandrel bent tubing. The special ceramic thermal barrier coating reduces under hood temperature, prevents thermal fatigue & corrosion.

Every header is designed with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, resulting in increased horsepower and torque. These headers come with all the necessary mounting hardware, reducers, premium gaskets, detailed instruction sheets and a special installation kit to help protect the ceramic coating while installing the headers.
