JEGS 631489 is designed to upgrade your Jeep CJ from manual to power brakes. This kit includes a dual reservoir master cylinder, replacing the original single reservoir system. This translates to an easier pedal when stopping the car, and a safer braking system when on the street or at the track.
Note: Most V8 engines will require you to switch to a smaller diameter air cleaner, double-check clearance before ordering.
Brake Booster Mounting Dimensions:
- 3-3/8" Bolt Pattern (Firewall Side)
- 3-3/8 Center to Center Bolt Hole (Master cylinder Side)
- Uses adjustable pin
Master Cylinder fitting sizes:
- 1/2 in. - 20 Thread (Front Port)
- 9/16 in. - 18 Thread (Rear Port)
- Master Cylinder has ports on both sides
