A stock location sump pan designed for use in AMX, Javelin, Hornet and all AMC chassis where maximum ground clearance is required without sacrificing performance. Road Race design sump increases capacity and is shallower than stock to allow maximum ground clearance. Five highly effective trap doors plus two baffles provide 100% oil control. This results in consistent oil pressure under heavy acceleration and in & out of the corners, as well as increases power output. Has 1/2" pipe fitting for an oil temp sender. Stock steering will not interfere with this pan.
Internal Pickup Version 697-31681 - For cruising or occational racing, this pan provides adequate street ground clearence with increased oil volume and control. Using an internal pickup this pan is adequate up to 6500-7000 RPM. Requires pickup 697-18401.
