    Pertronix Flame-Thrower High Performance (HP) Distributors feature the patented Ignitor II technology and are designed to take your performance one step higher. HP distributors are available with top exit or side exit caps and on average produce four times more energy (3000-5000 rpm) and two times more available plug voltage. Built with all new lightweight cast aluminum housings, these HP distributors come complete with high dielectric strength cap with brass terminals.

  • Tailored advance curve for optimal performance and drivability
  • Integrated Ignitor II electronic ignition with variable dwell maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance
  • Peak current level is reached just prior to spark for maximum energy without the heat build-up, increasing coil and module life
  • Adjusts spark timing at higher RPMs to compensate for the inherent electronic delay
  • Senses startup and develops more energy for quicker, easier starting
  • Built in reverse polarity and over current protection shuts down the system, preventing component damage
  • Balanced rotor with overmolded brass contact
