Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great space saver Really appreciate the extra room with headers in an A-body. Would be nice if it came with the coupler and hoses though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 69 Dart Upgraded Needed to fix my steering box, so I went with this unit. smaller/lighter. Steering feels great. Like all after market parts, Some shimming and adjusting is needed / (steering column alignment.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice product. will not fir Hemi car Bought this for 70RR hemi power steering conversion. While overall a smaller unit than stock manual box. All off the space savings is away from the motor where exhaust clearence is not an issue. If they would shift the mounting holes 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch to move the main box housing away from the motor this would be great. There is plenty of room to do it. I thought about doing it myself. But at $600 kinda hard to then have to make it fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works and it is smaller thats the best i can sa It works and it is smaller than the stock box that is the good part of it. The bad is that it is as loose as a stock pwr str box. There isn't any road feel in it. Also the fittings are impossible to find Jegs doesn't have them. you have to make your own. I did with a #6 tubing fitting, tap the inside the add an adapter to that. My opinion is you shouldn't sell something as a replacement part if they don't sell the fitting to hook it to your stock pump. I would recommend it if you are out of space like I was with an early A body and a V8.

What operating psi can this gear box operate at? I am hooking up a chevy ps pump to it and they run about 1200 psi.

    Asked by: Kluger
This pump is designed to operate in the 1200-1300 psi range and will work for your application.
