    These 4.6L Performance Improvement (PI) intake manifolds from Ford Racing are the current-production plastic manifolds used in 2001-03 4.6L SOHC 2V Mustang GTs. They are a less-expensive alternative to aftermarket performance intake manifolds for PI head swaps, and they are great for custom engine builds.

Mustang Intake Manifold

Ford Racing offers the original equipment 2001-2004 Mustang GT Plastic Composite Intake Manifold for Performance Improved (P.I.) cylinder heads with the upgraded aluminum coolant passage and thermostat housing. The plastic composite intake will fit 1996-2004 Mustangs with 4.6L engines swapping over to the P.I. Cylinder heads. May require additional pars for fitment on 1996-1998 applications.
