HPS Disc Brake Pad; 0.570 Thickness; FMSI Plate #D537;
High Performance Street disc brake pads are legendary for increasing stopping power on street-legal vehicles. Increasing the performance of your vehicles braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performances HPS braking compound. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have better pedal feel and more consistent performance in a durable brake pad that generates less brake dust.
For over 75 years, industry and consumers have been trusting Hawk for their severe duty braking and friction needs. Whether it's a 727 coming in for a landing or an open wheel racer taking a corner, Hawk is there to meet and exceed the demands. Their disc brake pads are manufactured in the United States using the most sophisticated manufacturing processes available. Their recognition as an ISO 9001 manufacturer is proof that they are committed to developing the safest, most durable products available.
Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) Brake Pads are world-renowned for superior stopping power on street-legal vehicles. Hawk Performance's unique Ferro-Carbon formula was developed for street performance yet applies the safety and quality of motorsports and aerospace severe-duty friction technology. Features
HPS Brake Pads have a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring parts are free of defects from manufacturer's materials/workmanship.
HPS Brake Pads are burnished as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with their rotors (new or used). Properly bedding-in new brake pads generates a transfer film at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
