    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I installed this tach in my LS swapped ‘81 Firebird. Tach is decent quality at a great price. It has push buttons for programming, a switch to activate an accessory at a specified RPM , and a light the illuminates when the specified RPM is reached. Intellitronix sales/support team were responsive and helpful in correcting an issue with my order. Can’t speak to longevity, but It was easy to hook up/set up, works Ok and looks great. Note: in Gen I, II, and III LS applications a ‘‘resistor’ and second 12v source may be required when using the RPM signal from ECU. This is because rhe ECU signal is only 5v. ‘Resistor’ steps the signal up to 12v. This is common and info can be found online Re: the specific type/specs, but Intellitronix sells the resistor as part of an LS swap gauge ‘kit’ PN 8014LS. This info is included in manual for Tach but good to know before hand.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from The digital is easier to see than the analog. I bought this and was able to use it for my last race this year, my reaction times were more consistent. I only wish that the readings were in 50 RPM increments rather than in 100 RPM increments. But a good value for the price.
