Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sump Great sump. cleared my 4.25 stroker with ease the only problem is the three bolts coming through the drivers side of the sump are too close to the pan bolts I had to fit three cap screws to clear those bolts

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Jegs Brand oil pan or the Competitors oil pan ?? I bought this pan and bolted it to my brand new 351w on my engine stand. Months later i put the motor in and let it sit a few more months before adding oil and starting the engine for the first time. After putting oil in the day i fired the engine is when i found 2 different downward welds leaking oil. Really unfortunate due to i went way overboard on cleanliness and i wire tucked all wires you can’t see them so after a lot of thought I patched the 2 welds with JB Weld instead of pulling the motor and sending the oil pan back witch now I regret. First time at the track on the third pass the rear weld split and sprayed and dumped all my oil out made a mess of everything luckily I didn’t put the car in the wall. If i buy the same JEGS Brand oil pan it will just bolt right up to my motor and oil system cheaply. If i go with a different brand ill need to buy other parts with it so it will be a higher cost to fix my problem. I feel it could of been a fluke with the bad welds on my jegs oil pan but not sure witch way to go. Just buy the same pan or spend more and buy a competitors brand pan ?
