The industrial Torrington-type incased bearings give JEGS Torque Converters the ability to handle thousands of pounds of torque throughout the converter while the customized turbine hubs and impeller fins maintain high quality, strength, and durability. Built with high-flow vents and channels for better cooling to handle higher power and heat ranges in moderately modified vehicles; these converters are not designed for nitrous, turbo, blower, or big block applications.

Should stall to 2400 with larger engine. Well built, solid converter. Will wake up any low buck build and the price is right.

    I just had my 1986 GMC 1500 Sierra 305 rebuilt with a comp thumpr cam 279/297 @050 and arpm range 2000 to 5800. Is this the stall converter I need?

    i have a 65 impala ss with 383 stroker 10.5:1 comp, cam: 235/249 @ .050 lift, th350 trans, 3.73 gears and tires are 24" tall. will this converter be good for this setup?

    So long as you do not have a TH350C transmission with lockup converter this will fit. If yours has a lockup style converter this will not fit.

    is this best choice for 1974 nova w/ 308 rear gears. engine is 305 sbc w/ 224/234 @50 cam w/ approx. 260 hp. 350 turbo trans.

    yes sir that will work but i would suggest a gear for that car of a 3.5x+ ratio

    Looking at this convertor for my 1970 Oldsmobile cutlass with built  350 with flat tops decent cam 350 turbo trans rear right now is 3.42 posi but have a 3.73 posi heavy car it's a 4 door sedan just wanna make sure my builder said it's what I need thanks

    That should work fine so long as you cam is about 220-230 duration @050
