Electric Vacuum Pump
Specifications:
This pump builds ~20 in of vacuum and curs off until vacuum is >5in. Is there any ability to adjust?
Does it matter which way I mount the pump? There are arrows on it, is there an up or down that I need to worry about?
Can this be used plumbed to an intake manifold for big cams that provide little to no vacuum to crankcase and brake booster?
Can we get some basic measurements of the assembled unit?
i'm looking for a pump to run my vacuum wipers. anyone wanna guess if this pump will have the volume (cfm) for this? don;t tell me to switch to electric, in this instance it's not easy, and besides, i like the way they work.
Will this work for a Chevy 327 small block with a power disc brake upgrade?
I wired the electric as shown and vac hoses as shown. The pump does not run? It runs if i bypass the relay? I have almost no vacuum, does the pressure switch need to sense some king of pressure to work? Can i wire it to run all the time the motor is ran?
Need to buy a rebuild kit for the pump.My pump went out between Lexington, KY and Knoxville,TN. on the way to"Shades of the Past" Wasn't fun at all! Was happy to see the JEGS trailer there till I found out they weren't selling parts. Just giving out hats
