Rated 3 out of 5 by from Huston, we have a problem !!! I bought this unit to replace a unit that I recently purchased. I assumed that the first one was defective, but when I actually measured the resistance of the unit; It was 90 ohms which is correct. I was puzzled. I then measured this unit; it was also 90 ohms and fit the tank flawlessly. I put it all back together and found that the new unit only reads 1/2 tank just like the other one. Make a long story short. I found that the float arm interferes with the filler neck in the tank. One needs to bend the arm away from the filler neck to clear. You can verify the operation by turning the tank upside down and measure the resistance. It better be 90 ohms if it's not then you need to work on the float arm.
