All Lokar Hi-Tech Throttle Cables are available in either stainless steel braided housing, black stainless steel braided housing or black housing. They are designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable - not to be confused with ordinary braided brake hose. Cables are equipped with aluminum fittings and aluminum ferrules to eliminate fraying. ''U-Cut-to-Fit'' outer housing is available in 24'' or 36'' lengths with a ''U-Cut-to-Fit'' stainless inner wire. Clevis is designed without cotter pins or set screws. Adapts to factory and aftermarket pedals. Cables mount nicely with Lokar's array of Brackets and Return Springs (sold separately). Kits complete with installation instructions.

    S-1034 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can be adapted You can remove the cable device and attach a throttle rod to it if you want to. Regarding the swivel, where the little nut goes on: If the hole in the throttle mechanism is larger than the shaft is where the nut goes on you can make a small bushing out of copper tubing to fill the void and when you tighten the nut it will compress make it all solid; just don't make it too wide. This is what I did with the original throttle mechanism on my 65 Olds Cutlass due to having to move the throttle rod up in order to clear a Bowler TV bracket. This s-1034 almost a duplicate of what Olds used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very solid piece. If you are doing a carb swap and only have the raw cable going to a carb this piece is exactly what you need to attach to your carb. cable just slides in the end and held with a set screw. Very easy and looks like a clean factory look.
