MSD 7227 Ultra 7AL High-Output Multiple Spark Ignition Control Features:
- High-Output continuously delivers high energy for maximum performance even under extreme race or street conditions
- (2) Different power output settings for on-the-fly changes for drag-or-drive situations
- Adjustments made using plug-in modules (pills) for the 3-Step Rev Control and Multi-Step Retard
- Rev Control can set one rev limit for burnout, another for the staging rpm limit, and a third for high RPM engine protection
- Quickens throttle response
- Adjustable start retard can control the amount of retard pulled out during engine cranking
- adjustable switch for start retard settings eliminates the need for additional external wiring to the starter solenoid
- 56 Percent lighter, and over 50 percent smaller than the 7AL-3
- Twice the spark output of the 7AL-3, (330mJ vs 160mJ)
- (2) RPM Activated Switch Outputs (compared to the 7AL’s single RAS output)
