Axxess AXADBXH-GM3 radio Data Interface Wiring Harness for AXADBX-1/AXADBX-2 GM 00-13. This AXADBXH harness must be used in conjunction with the appropriate interface box—AXADBX-1 or AXADBX-2 (sold separately)! Once the proper interface is used with this harness is used to retain functions normally lost when replacing the OEM radio. Some of the vehicle features are controlled through data from the OEM radio, this interface will mimic those data signals and provide features like Accessory 12v (10amp) power, Retain warning chimes in select vehicles (GM), Retain on Star(GM), Retain SYNC (FORD), Retain Blind Spot detection ( Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) models. This interface will work with models that are either non- amplified, analog amplified, or digital amplified. P lease follow the instructions carefully for your model vehicle. Failure to do so will result in either no sound, or low sound. If you are unsure if your vehicle is factory amplified or not, please contact your local dealership. This harness is to be used along with the optional AXSWC (sold separatel y) to retain steering wheel audio controls. If the AXSWC is not being used, disregard this harness. If the AXSWC will be used, please refer to the AXSWC instructions for radio connections and programming. Disregard the harness that comes with the AXSWC. The ADBX interface series purpose is to be abl e to stock one interface and several harnesses without breaking the bank in inventory.
