OER Fuel Tanks are exact reproductions of the original fuel tank in your vehicle. OER gives you three materials to choose from: stainless steel; zinc-coated steel or galvanized steel. OER also offers steel fuel tanks with a Ni-Terne coated finish that is comparable to traditional galvanizing. The Ni-Terne style fuel tanks are constructed from annealed cold-rolled steel that is processed with a thin flash coating of electrodeposited nickel that is then given a hot-dip lead-thin alloy coating that produces an OE appearance. This Ni-Terne coating protects both the interior and exterior surfaces of the fuel tank against corrosion.
