Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to have a new Battery Charger I Had to replace an old charger a friend gave me years ago, I should have purchased the Optima 1200 Battery Charger long ago, The Optima 1200 Battery Charger is amazing, I hooked up the Optima 1200 Battery Charger to an old AGM battery in a tractor, I thought this battery was dead or dying the Optima 1200 Battery Charger analyzed, conditioned and charged the AGM I bought in 2005, now the tractor cranks quickly and I have no need to purchase a new battery

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best I've used many battery chargers and this is by far the best out there. It was lighter than I thought it would be. I like how it analyzes the batteries before it starts and tells you their state. I really like the gauge that tells you how full the charge is. It has very good clamps for a perfect connection and comes with extra leads for motor cycles or permanent installation. Its pricey but well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Battery Reviver Yes, it is a bit pricey but if you are looking for a charger capable of bringing a battery back to life, this is the one for you. I also have a Craftsman Diehard charger and it usually does the job but not with the latest battery issue I had. The Optima charger acted like Dr. Frankenstein, bringing life back to a battery I nearly gave up for dead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Charger Acquired from JEGS! I've recently been using an inflatable boat with a small trolling motor powered by 12 volt marine batteries. While I can get 2 to 3 hours of battery power on the water, I take a second battery with me in case the first runs out. This happened recently...I changed out batteries on the water and docked briefly to take the charged-out battery in for recharge. I realized then that I needed the fastest, most reliable quick charger so I would have a good backup available as soon as possible. After researching chargers, it seemed clear that this Optima charger offers the most features and the quickest recharges. I've had it now for a couple weeks: I love the features...attach and identify the type of battery and the charger analyzes it and displays its current and ongoing status. While I haven't had to do it yet, the manual says it will completely recharge a 12V marine battery in 2 to 3 hours, which easily meets my needs for a ready backup. Finally, JEGS advertises a lowest price guarantee, and I easily got the best price and free and fast shipping from JEGS. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good charger, bad display I have had this charger for years and it charges fine. The display started to fail shortly after the purchase and is getting worse. I asked the Optima reps at the SEMA show 2 years in a row if it could be repaired and the answer is no!! Just live with it or buy a new one...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Optima sells JUNK Optima battery charger died right after warranty expired. Now its a blank screen…now its a piece of JUNK. My 20 year old Sears charger works better than the new optima. Called optima and they said they do not repair chargers and to buy another…WHAT spend $200.00 on another piece of JUNK
